Position Overview

Assist the Marketing Manager in management of marketing and advertising responsibilities, including specific projects for JB & Associates dba Buff City Soap, Crunch Fitness, Sun Tan City.

Responsibilities

  • Opening and Grand Opening Marketing Plans - Initiate, develop, and execute local marketing activations and grassroots efforts for rapid new store growth.
    • Work with Marketing Manager to establish a timeline of opening plan and week-to-week responsibilities two months prior to opening.
    • Travel to markets to execute pre-opening plans, increase local engagement/brand awareness and assist in new store setup.
    • Assist in developing and communicating content for local and national social posts.
    • Assist in placing digital (paid social), radio, radio remotes, tv, etc. and communicate plans to Ops team.
    • Solicit, coordinate and facilitate in-store or on-site events.
    • Assist in ordering Opening and Grand Opening POP materials.
    • Work with Marketing Manager to determine Opening Day or Grand Opening Day event needs.
    • Collaborate with local Influencers to coordinate partnerships and influencer events.
    • Email communications outlining store opening results and sales information.
    • Responsible for posting stories content to local Facebook and Instagram pages.
    • Responsible for meeting pre-opening goals in regards to social media engagement and followers.



  • Ongoing Marketing Support - Initiate, develop, manage, and execute marketing plans at local level (including management and execution of on-going grassroots and sampling).
    • Assist Marketing Manager in reporting and analysis needs – Coupon and deal redemption, analysis of adjustments needed for challenged stores.
    • Social Media Management – Respond to social media inquiries and work with field teams to resolve guest issues, party bookings/appointments, etc. Assist in ensuring accuracy of store information on social media platforms, maps apps and in-store signage.
    • Local Store Marketing assistance – Assembly, organization, coordination and execution of sampling projects.
    • Write and submit communications for Ops when specific store or local market programs apply.
    • Seek out and execute local partnerships with influencers, businesses and organizations within each community.
    • Monitor and communicate in-store merchandising needs with field teams and ensure brand consistency among stores.



  • Creative Development
    • Work with Marketing Manager to establish monthly coupon offers.
    • Submit jobs for creative development for print, social, signage, etc.
    • Proof for accuracy and send to Marketing Manager for final approval.


Skills And Specifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience setting up social media campaigns, particularly Facebook and Instagram
  • Experience in sales
  • Basic PR writing skills
  • Brand or account management
  • High level of attention to detail, proofing
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to travel within territory on an as needed basis
