Bilingual Bodily Injury Adjuster

Basica Insurance Services is a respected leader in the insurance industry, dedicated to providing exceptional claims handling and customer service. We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Bodily Injury (BI) Adjuster to join our team and manage injury-related claims with efficiency, fairness, and professionalism.

The Bilingual BI Adjuster will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving bodily injury claims arising from auto accidents and other covered incidents. This role requires a strong understanding of liability assessment, medical evaluations, policy interpretation, and negotiation techniques. The adjuster will work closely with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and internal teams to ensure proper claim resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze bodily injury claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Review medical records, accident reports, and legal documents to assess injury severity and claim value.
  • Communicate with claimants, attorneys, and medical professionals to gather information and facilitate settlements.
  • Evaluate and negotiate settlements in accordance with company policies and industry's best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed claim documentation.
  • Stay current with relevant state and federal laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including underwriting and legal, to ensure thorough claims handling.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience handling bodily injury claims.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Licensing: Adjusters License in the state of Texas or the state of Nevada
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, legal principles, and insurance policies related to bodily injury claims.
